Apologize; unrelated, removed on my own.
Wednesday braking the mold, I am going to wear my USAF kilt at VA, & accept the consequences.”!
USAF Tartan design dates to 1988, USAF Reserve band, Dobbins Air Force base. Tartan registered in 1990.

Kilt was accepted, got a lot of smiles & compliments. However, have a new administrator for volunteer services last week, today filtered down to me “no shorts”, my legs covered with knee high socks. So Wednesday, going to wear Civil War Zouave Pantaloons!
Friday, wear a kilt.

Just curious...
Which plaid is the USAF kilt you claim to have worn? Did the USAF create one of their own designs/setts or simply purloin one of the more popular ones?
Pics please, can't wait to see you all figged out! Would like to see you in a Great Belted as well, you'd fill it out nicely.
Best regards and good wrapping!

New Volunteer Chief on seeing me wear shorts on Monday, had the coordinator send an email out banning shorts, blue jeans & tee shirts for volunteers. Many protested by sending emails to him. Capris’s allowed, so my protest, wear pantaloons. The coordinator wasn’t there to see it, so had the photo taken to send to her of me in the “Capt Morgan” pose.
Shorts, blue jeans & tee shirts allowed, (tee shirts can only have organizational logos, ie VFW, American Legion, DAV).
