Guessers say 91° Today, 74° presently. and clear.
They are calling 64% rain, but it has been skirting all around us the last few days, so we'll see.  :-\

Got a few honey-do's on tap, nothing too taxing.

The book I recall from childhood was " The Lion's Paw" a sailing adventure story.

Morning y'all.
Coffee and tea are ready.

Rained overnight.

I liked Mike Mulligan too.

Gonna cut a swath down the lane with the bush hog.

'Tis 65 and sunny. High of 82.

Morning y'all.
Coffee and tea are ready.

'Tis 58 and sunny. "Mostly sunny. A chance of sprinkles in the afternoon. Highs in the upper 70s. Light and variable wind becoming northwest 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon."

Had supper ready to microwave.  Smothered burritos.  Glad I did, got home from urgent care and ER a bit ago.  Called it right on, bronchitis turning into pee-monia, got antibiotics and told it was good to catch it quick.

I remember that one.

But you wanted to be a sailor, I liked steam and was so sad when the last of them left the tracks, a few hauled grain in the fall till about 1960 or so.

Greetings all.

100 degrees, 12% humidity.

Been quite busy the past couple weeks. Horse surgeries, fires, trail construction projects etc. here’s the highlights:

Bought the wife another car. This one a 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer. We needed a commuter for the 50 mile one way commute every day, and the price was right.

Horse is getting a surgery to remove a “growth” on his nose and hip. I don’t know much about it, other than that I have to pay.

Had a few fires, the most recent of which was Saturday night and into Sunday morning. Only 1/4 acre, but is mile hike in to get to it. There were a couple other roadside fires that we took care of in under an hour as well.

I’m also in the process of getting a promotion at work, from pay grade 3 to 4. It’s $1.20/hr bump in pay, so I’ll take it.
