Welcome back, Major Matt,
It's been pretty quiet around here for the last week or so, don't know where everyone went.

Guys,

I would love too...I have the itch real bad.  I am even starting to lust after a pair of 1858 New Armies.  Now back to reality....I mobilize for Afghanistan next month.  So I am out of pocket for the next year.  I hate the fact that now that I got the itch, I can't scratch it....I still have all of my stuff too....

I was handling my USFA Nettleton model a few days ago....I really want to come and play.  I am a Captain now.  Have been for the past year.  I am also a Company Commander.  I will be home around Labor Day next year.  Let me know if there are any GAF Shoots around that time.  I was going through my guns the other day and have found an Artillery Model that I haven't shot yet.  It is a shame.  They are begging for some exercise.  They will have to wait.  :(

I saw the date in June and I was saddened.  I am trying to get some friends of mine into CAS.  One is a retiring LTC and the other is a good guy, for a civilian ;)  But I definitely have the bug, I just got back from the gun store where I bought a Uberti 1875 Remington.  My kids want to learn CAS too when I come home.  They were pretty excited when I asked them.

I hope to be a civilian before Christmas.
Then I can go to a lot more GAF functions.
And have more time to keep up with the GAF Forum here.

Richard! Great to hear from you.

John, Palmyra, right?

Well done, well done, now you have everyone in and near Valparaiso made at you.  You'd think you were from Comstock the way you act. ::) ;D

Naw, the ones in Palmyra feel better now.  ;D  OK, we have out local jokes and town rivalry also.   Remind me to tell you about the Sat afternoon we robbed the bank of Palmyra, the statutes of limitations would have long been up even if it really had happened.  Don't know if Bruce was ever sure it didn't happen.   ::)
