I was shot in the leg by "Buckshot" Roberts.

Charles Bowdri?  There was several fellas shot by Mr. Roberts, including one William Boney.  As the action I read, gave the others wounds in other parts of the body, but did not specifie Charles wond, I chose him!

Well, the best I kind find is Billy the kid getting shot in the upper leg and Jim French getting shot in the a---, er, butt by the same bullet!  So, is this close enough?

Otherwise I will get a keep looking right ?

The only thing comes to mind is "Doc"!  Holiday is out, can't say I have heard of him in connection with the "kid"

But there is a "Doc" Scurlock mentioned in connection with the kid .  So,  Doc Scurlock is the hombre shot in the leg by Buckshot Roberts....

It is (alledgedly) Doc Scurlock.  This is another of those situations where you run into conflicting information.  Bill O'Neal, in his "Encyclopedia of Western Gunfighters" has Scurlock being killed in a gunfight with Fred Roth at John Chisum's ranch in New Mexico in 1882.  Leon Metz's "Encyclopedia of Lawmen, Outlaws, and Gunfighters" closely tracks with the account in the first link below.  Third link is a photo of his grave in Eastland, TX.

I've also found at least two other sources that indicate he was grazed or nicked in the fight with Roberts.
