King Medallion,

I did not miss or forget about the last line of your 2nd paragraph in your original response, so STAG grips on this revolver?  Can't wait to see a picture of the finished look.  If you, please!

I have real stag knife handles but always wanted a set on a SAA, just could not justify them on the revolvers I own.  Thought about doing fake plastic/polymer but just not the same.

Hope they turn out perfect for you.

Agreed 100%.

Afternoon all.

Rain/white stuff in the Klamath Mountains today. Nothing sticking below 5000ft.

Slim, I loaded some 250gr Barry's SWC bullets with I think ~19gr of H110 (I'll have to double check my load data when I get home tonight), in magnum cases. Very mild in my Blackhawk. I think it technically classifies as a 44spl +P, but still pleasant.

For sure. It will be a little bit though. I need to gather up some reloading stuff for it and the .38 Colt 77 that I picked up also. Buying three Colts in a week has left my fun money on the dry side for a little bit.

Back some Lustrum or so, twas a Movie (Believe twas Sherlock Holmes) and this really nice looking CRAZY lady stepped out with a Nickel seven and a half inch, 1877 in each hand, firing away.  I seriously lusted for those two guns.

Dang, she was handling her business

Quote from: Abilene on March 14, 2025, 05:49:03 PMWow, blued models are rare!  I don't know if that was refinished but who cares, it looks great!

I don't know 100% but I am guessing it has. Some times it seems like its original but it's so nice overall I think it had to have been redone, but many years ago.

Yes, I managed to turn those two Taylor's Schofields into three real Colts.
