Anybody ever see an "enclosed" gun cart; a crate on wheels that can stand up?

Anybody ever seen such a thing?

Seems like it'd be the slick way to do it. A long lockable crate that I can use to take the guns to and from the range, but then once I'm there I can pull it out, wheel it around, and stand/ prop it open.

Yes, I've seen guncarts in the shape of a coffin with wheels and a hinged lid.
Apart from the cool-factor I see the advantage if the shooting range is very windy & dusty.  The disadvantage would be the weight and bulk of the coffin.

I saw replica Beacher Bibles marked crate too.

(the guy used a trailer to transport it)

Our past Editor of The Shootist had a very similar conveyance as a gun cart, a steamer trunk on a railroad dolly - the kind with plowshare handles.
The height of authenticity, there was one NCOWS member who had a burro, or perhaps it was a small donkey, that "packed" his guns and ammo from stage to stage. The animal seemed fairly accustomed to gunfire and seemed undisturbed while perform their duties.

a burro would be awesome!  Especially if it lived at the range.  :)

I recall in some old Shootist issues where one guy, George Glenn maybe?, went completely authentic by building a sledge.  I think he gave up dragging it after a single match.  ;D

Based on my Alias, I built my very first "Gun Kart" as a Coffin.  Was Uber KOOL!!  Was Uber HEAVY!!  The club I was shooting at at the time was basically a sand wash with berms cut into the sides.  I found dragging that thing thru sand, even with 14 inch wheels to be a real GROAN.  I also built a Kart out of an excess tall narrow bathroom cabinet.  Same same.  Uber HEAVY and not fun at sandy/dirt ranges.  I actually gave them away.  Heavy karts may well look "The Biz" but after you have to drag one around and lift it in and out of your Car/Truck/Go-Kart/Trike, it won't take long until you dispose of it.

I have one that is a Wells Fargo box on plowshare handles with wooden wheels. Not too heavy but the rifle and shotgun barrels stick out the top. I used to use a "freight box" type cart. Heavy and hard to maneuver. Fully enclosed the guns but was too big to be practical.

Saw one at Arkansas State. Was built on an electric powered 3 wheeled landscaping cart. Made it  easier to move from stage to stage.
Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures of it.

No idea of what your woodworking skills are like, but... for some outstanding inspiration check out this gun cart.  https://forums.sassnet.com/index.php?/topic/259076-my-latest-roll-top-gun-cart
