Are there any U.S. Naval Aviators in the Barracks? (… or others who like a good rum?)

Being on the e-mail list for Pusser's Rum, I just received notice of a sale price on one of their commemorative ceramic decanters containing their excellent rum - this one honouring the 100th anniversary of United States Navy aviation -

Hmmmm, might have to get one of those.

I don't know Chuck, those long necked round bottomed things make it easy to suddenly get a whole point of rum in a shot glass and maybe even (gasp) spill it.

I've seen these before and been tempted; just never pulled the trigger.

Pussers is a good product if you buy the higher end stuff.  The stuff that emulates what was actually served you'll likely find it less than appealing.  It's pretty harsh.  A bit of water and lime make it much more pleasant.

My usual go-to rum is El Dorado 21.  For my 75th birthday I'll treat myself to a bottle of the 25.

The ones I've seen/purchased in the past were full of elixer …
