Another Suvorov fan I see! He's quite the character. Doesn't get anywhere near the recognition he deserves, in my opinion.

Well, I finally got to fire the rifle today. Wow! That was an experience. I was shooting a 415 grain bullet over about 65 grains of Alliant Black MZ. Once I got a hang of it, accuracy wasn't bad, at least at short distances. Need to get out to the country and really work on accuracy.

The only issue was a part of the forearm had apparently been cut down by a previous owner, and would slide forward under recoil. I'll try to post a picture shortly. Anyone know any fixes?

Have to see a picture, but suspect you're looking at drilling, dowels and wood glue.  Charles Isaac is really good at that, might want to give him a holler.

I'll try to post pictures when I get back home, tried earlier and it just wouldn't work.
