Hey Guys Just a reminder to get your meal fees paid to Delmonico so he can get his ingredients purchased.

I've been busy building upgrades to the facilities and I have a couple of new targets that I really think you're going to enjoy (or at least be challenged by  ;) )

We'll go $8 a meal again, gas had me scared for a bit.

I'm going to watch the sales and it looks like a go for the beets for the hash and a good chance on fresh green beans again.

Hey Guys
Can I get a head count for how many were planning on staying under my canvas. The teepee is needing some work and I'm questioning the need to put it up.

With the new targets, and the long range forecast showing the most pleasant weather we've ever had for the DoM Muster, I'm really looking forward to it!

I'm fine in my bed roll, if it gets real nasty as in bad T-storm I'll sleep in The General as I have many times before places.

I am covered, Col. Gonna use my lean-to.

Set it up a little further from the cook fire this year, you look like a bug trying to escape the heat in the morning when I build the fire up.

And if the weather is nice, the Colonel can sleep in his chair.

I plan to have enough firewood cut in advance so I don't need to get all over-heated cutting more this year.  :)

Yeah but it's nice to show folks how much fun we have and how we don't get all uptight about the little stuff.  I'm bring more Gatorade than last year and hope we don't need it.  I about cleaned the Corner Market out on it last year, got all their green and there wasn't a lot of orange powder left.

BTW do you know if anyone is going to be camping at the motel in Taylor this year?  I had a brilliant idea last year, one the way home. ::)  We should have had Skip grab ice at the corner gas station just south of Taylor when he came in the morning. ;)

Planning to get my entry in the mail tomorrow. Since my wife doesn't want to come this time, I'll be camping, but only have a modern tent.  We can hide it somewhere, though. No need to mess with the teepee just for me, if there's not room anywhere else.

Ok, at this point I've heard from 2 asking to use my canvas (that includes Pony Express) I have 2 dog tents and that would be room for 4 if needed, so at this point I won't plan on putting up the Teepee.

I still have room for one in my wall tent and I have the wedge tent I used last year that I could bring which will sleep one or two more.

If you have room, bring it, I may need some place to put a crust on a cobbler when it rains like last year.

Hey Guys
I haven't seen registrations from most of you (even some that I'm pretty sure are attending) Can you please PM me with what rifles you plan to use so that I can make sure I order the appropriate certificates from Dusty Tagalon (Thanks Dusty!)

New cover for the cot is in hand so I think I'm good

I'm shooting my Vetterli and Open Top. I only have 76 rounds of Vetterli loaded, so I hope that will see me through. I will just have to "give 'em the cold steel" if I run out

Delmonico, I was going to settle up with you when I got there, but I do understand.
Money on it's way my friend.

I'm also bringing some prizes.

RCJ

p.s.
I learned my lesson at last year's Muster. I loaded smokeless rounds this time, so I'm not turning my rifle into a smoothbore with BP. Col. Drydock, I'm using a 330gr. with 11gr. of Unique, lrg. pistol primer. Hope this will reach out to some of the distant targets (NOT Long Range) without blowing myself up.
