The GAF website is down because the domain name has expired. I am working with the fellows who handle that to get it back on line.

It does happen every time it needs to be renewed. >:(

I am the webmaster and can only maintain the contents of the website. The domain name is owned by someone else and I don't know whose server the site is on. All that stuff is above my pay grade! ::)

Could we renew the site for, say, give years at a time? Since we don't own the name at least the problem wouldn't happen as often.

Yes domain names can be renewed for multiple years. The gentleman that owns the domain name graciously does not charge us for keeping the domain and a friend of his lets us use his server.
