Howdy Y'all, Del, be nice to the nurses, they keep the Drs. from killing you.

Quick update on my medical goings on. Friday I went in and had a temporary Spinal cord stimulator installed. It sends an electrical charge to the nerves to cancel out the pain impulses. So far it seems to be working. I would say my back pain went fro a 9-10 down to a 5 or so. I can walk better and don't have to worry about turning the wrong way and causing more pain. The temp unit will come out on Thursday then they will try to get permission from workers comp to install a permanent unit which will have the battery/ control unit and all the wires under the skin. I'll be in the hospital for 2 to 3 days for that. I'll try to keep Y'all updated.

Bionic Man  ;D   hoping it goes well

Waiting for Rita to call and come get her.

This is why the cake problem was so funny yesterday, this was 6 years ago.

Thanks Y'all, the back pain has been reduced by about 60%, but now I'm feeling all the other aches and pains that the back pain over rode. Like my grandmother used to say, "Getting old isn't for sissies"

Afternoon all.

Currently somewhere around freezing and overcast. I had a final in accounting this morning. It was unnecessarily long, but I got it done in the allotted time.

Did my monthly Exodus to Great Falls for Uncle Sam. We had the unit Christmas party, which for me was spent assembling children's games and then running one of them. It was a snowy drive back, but we made it safely.

I remember the days I could do stuff like that by myself.

No wonder I'm such a worn out pile of junk.🤣

Close.... it did take 2 men and this determined old man to move it ,,,, but it was not meant to be portable once placed it does not move.

I've shot it with 9MM FMJ and it smudges the orange paint a little  :D  the second one in the works will offer a bit of selective optional aim points

Looking forward to seeing your creation

Slim, I had a dream about you last night.
I and a sizable group of other fellars were helping you do odd jobs around your farm.
My main job was cutting 15 1/2" of stout pipe with a pipe cutter. You made a point of reminding me of the necessary measurements a couple of times. I was having trouble getting it measured properly as the tape measure kept shifting. So somebody else took over and I was put to work digging out the foundation under your front stoop to be reworked and filled in again more solidly.

I must have done a good job, because a girl came up to me and gave me a nice, long hug. I recall feeling a bit embarrassed by the attention.

Dang!, I woke up after that.
