Hope ya had a good day at OFSDAR Arcey n got all them clangs and in the right order.

Had to catch up on mowing since the rain we had made the grass grow like it had steroids in it. Set up our new DR trimmer tow behind and tried it out and it did a good job om the grass under the fence line.

Have an appointment for the Orthopedist next week, if it goes well I could get my fingers back in full working order with just a little loss of strength. It would still be an issue shooting C&B but should make shooting OFSDAR and BP cowboy rounds okay.

By looking at my statements I would say my golden years are making some doctors very well off.

Sorry it's been a while since I've checked in. I'm hangin' in there !

Thanks 'Roo for poppin' me a IM  to see if I was still around & kickin'... Got the Reno Rodeo in town now, been at that a few days 'round my work schedule at Amazon. That place has me run raggetty, I walk 12-15 mi. a day. 4-10's Wed. thru Sat.
Hangin' in there by a thread, weekly # of picks has got me in the dog house, just below what they want so they write you up..

Speakin' of O-L-D....

Lost my baby brother Easter Monday, he was 52 yrs. old & had a massive heart attack in his sleep. 4 or 5 Generations of Paternal heart troubles reared it's ugly head... He was the last hold out living in CA my pop & his wife in SC & my mom, sisters & I in NV. Pop handled all his arrangements (retired LEO contacted his LAPD bros & investigated the situation, to make sure his death wasn't anything abnormal) & had Scott's ashes sent to him in SC to be put on the Savannah River leading in to Lake Hartwell. His love of drag boat racing, water skiing & fishin' seemed appropriate.
He wouldn't have been visited in SO Cal, so it was the most logical since Scott didn't think much of Reno... Maternal family drama followed so we had a time of severing ties with those folks. Life's too short to tolerate ugly behavior...
Hope all you boys have been behavin' & feeling good your ownselves, I'll read up on all I've missed when I get some time on my hands... I'll check in again soon !!

‘Tooth wrote the thing for minimal physical abuse of senior citizens. Got a bit toasty.

144 trigger pulls, 140 gotta hits ‘n 4 bonus shots all went CLANG – in order, clean, thankee. One other cleaned it but didn’t clean the bonuses. Totaled up the scores ‘n the winner beat out second place by .05 seconds. That’s close. Less than 3 seconds first ta third ‘n less than 5 first ta fourth over six stages.

This ole fart is beat. Time ta crash.

Went to the dentist this afternoon for a checkup. Going back on Monday morn for a "deep cleaning" since I haven't been to a dentist in over 7 years. Going back in Oct to get a couple of cracked teeth fixed. They have "silver" fillings in them from the mid '70's.

Checking in from on the road, stopped in Grand Island for the night, on to Sargent tomorrow morning. Great weather for the drive, except for about 30 minutes of rain between the Nebraska line and Lincoln.

Evenin' y'all.

Bit of a day here.

went up a hill today.  Total elevation change of about 800ft.  In under 300ft of trail. 

did that 4 times, carrying, among other things: 40lb rock bars, 20lb ice chests, stacks of lumber and ten foot 1" galvanized pipes.

Then, when that was all at the top, dug 8 post holes.  These holes were 12" across and 12-18" deep.  The ground was about the consistency of 50 year old asphalt that a soil truck tipped over on.  four of those we filled with concrete and set a chunk of pipe in.   5 hours of this.

be doing more of the same tomorrow.

But, $20 an hour kind of makes up for it.

I'm going to go take an ibuprofen and go to bed.

My condolences,Miz Letty. 52 is sorta young, but sometimes family history/genetics pops it's ugly head whether you like it or not. As for the other, family stuff can be a real PITA I 've been pretty busy myself, have had the keys to the kingdom all week and am pretty beat this morning

I'm sorry to hear about your brother, Miz Letty.  I was just about to tkink out loud - or at least in print about you.  Figured your job might be taking up a good mount of your time.  Glad to hear from you.

Had us a nice weather reprieve yesterday, only go to 94 or something like that.  Nice out this morning, going up to 98 they say, but by Monday it should be back to the 110 region again.  Still windy most of the time, fire danger is in the RED.

Since I am up early, I should try to do something productive today.
