Evening all.

60 and sunny today.  Looks like there might be some white stuff in the mountains to the South by morning.

I felt slightly productive today.  Did better in my last psychology test than I thought, and did two hours of time in the $300k simulator.  To quote on of the professors who was watching, I have "good crash landing skills."  This was in response to my successful (non-explosive) landing after an engine failure.  So I guess that's a compliment. That's how I'm going to take it.

I never understood that lottery business either, Del. Seems a waste of money for really bad odds.  And since my continued existence as an aviator relies on not winning bad odds, I think I'll pass.

Now if y'all will excuse me, I've got a rendezvous with some long eyelashes tonight.  ;)

If you won the powerball last night, be brothers  today.  We have to drive across the stateline to buy lottery. About a hour or so. ...

Afternoon all.

60 degrees with broken altocumulus today.  Decent flying weather.

Just got done with history class. Gave a presentation on my great grandpa.  I think I mentioned that here a while back. It went well, I think.

Now on to lunch, and ground School, then a meeting.

I got a Shingles "booster" Shot yesterday ( my 2nd )  only thing I won was the expected "reaction" to the dam thing ....

joints ache, feel feverish, flush , mild headache , generally like POO !
lasts about a day or so....with muscle pain at the injection point for few days.
But they tell you that going in....and being as how the CLONE infected me with Chicken Pox 20+ years ago ( brought home for public germ ridden school system ) in my mid 40's ( and I was hit hard )
I'm a  1 out of 3  candidate to contract Shingles in my 70's ( and that AIN'T NO Fun !) so I did the regiment....

Took today off just cause I could (PTO) and I knew I'd be yucky ...( I was the first time too )
may take tomorrow too...

Woke up for a plumbing check.... feeling poorly, took some Tylenol ( worked earlier )

Arm bicep smarts a bit ...muscle pain at the injection point.

Feel feverish and generally ache ....beats the shingles though, I'm told  ::)

I've kicked in when the office does a group buy.... but they didn't this time  :-\  so I figure I saved $20  :)

Kale is just collards with a wrinkly leaf.  Treat it as should be and not as a Yuppie wanna be cook and it's the same although more change of leaving bugs and dirt in it.
