I used to pray for snow and cold weather so they could make snow. In 2016, I had a hip replacement at the age of 76. That ended my skiing career. We have been living in Florida now for over five years. It's pretty easy to get used to warm and sunny weather. I do miss the skiing but not the snow and cold weather.

On another note, the Green Bay Packers beat the Chicago Bears yesterday and are going to the NFL playoffs as a wild card. They play the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.
You need to learn to like all the little everday things like a sip of good whiskey, a soft bed, a glass of buttermilk,  and a feisty old gentleman like myself

Supposed to get windy late afternoon and go till around noon tomorrow.   Don't care, don't have to go anywhere and don't have to shovel it.
Does dee-oh-gee enjoy it?

3-4 inches here and still coming down.    I am a Yeti, love cold weather, give me mid 20s any day, but you can keep the snow!

The tail end of the Storm y'all are experiencing is headed in this direction.
Of course, no SNOW but we'll see winds, rain & lightening.
The guessers state 50-55 MPH in gusts, most should be west of the I-4 corridor and some north of my County.
Still, the s-word can happen (no, I don't mean SNOW) so we'll be weary.

Headed to the LGS toy store, and then meeting with an old reenacting friend for lunch.

They say we have about 12 inches.  Hard to tell exactly between the bare spots and the big drifts.

It came yesterday and last night.

Sent her back about noon yesterday, She made it 10 days this time, progress, the bleeding started again and clots, still the radiation burns on the bladder.  She is doing great, just needs more care again than I can give, looking at least till the weekend.  Fireman scooped and ice melted my steps and joked with me that they would rather do it than haul me in too.  I think they are getting to know us.  We tried to get a non-emergency transport but they were all full and no way I could have cleaned the car, the sidewalks and got her down the stairs.   John has been by and got the rest and cleaned the car but Rita and my Mom told me not to go anywhere, stay at home due to the ice under it.

Got plenty of supplies, but down to 4 pounds of coffee and 300 tea bags, plus plenty of flour, eggs and everything else.  Besides Lexie has a car and her license now and the store by her work is open to 1 am.  Did about an 18 hour sleep in pieces but feel fine.

Oh Slim can't say anything because of HIPA rules but when we call the ambulance we create more work for him. ;D  It's fine though it's city owned and they take what medicare pays, no idea what the full cost would be.

8" so far. Supposed to continue until noon tomorrow.  ::)
35 MPG is the max on the way home from verk.

Found out my S&W 15-3 has an adjustable trigger stop. That is way the trigger feels so great.
It appears the S&W 15, aka Combat Masterpiece, and S&W 19, aka Combat Magnum, have the adjustable trigger stop.
