Title: 6 shot 1897 conversion...
Post by: Tuolumne Lawman on May 17, 2021, 06:25:21 PM
Just got my Wild Bodie Tom 6 shot conversion kit from Online Outpost for $39.  Really slick, just took 5 minutes to install. New follower and spring.  Loads 6 with a tidge more room, so its not bound up. They have lots of other good CAS parts, too.

Now I am set for Wild Bunch at Railroad Flat!!!!

I did my own way back when. Just a matter of clipping spring coils and shortening the extra material off the follower so it doesn’t bottom out on either before you get 6 in. In fact using my 2 inch shells I can get 7 in my mag tubes. Our match creator likes shotgun work so an 8 round stage on a WB or BAM match is not unusual.

Uniquetek carries those as well:

I just trimmed the spring on a couple of mine, working fine.
