Is there a Cliff Notes version?
« on: May 01, 2005, 10:50:35 PM »
Or maybe a movie?
I'm not lazy (well, then again, maybe I am) but I ain't a gonna read hundreds of pages of meanderings here.  And what I have read (Nebrassky) surely didn't make much sense.  Of course that could be the point.

Hrm. Cliff notes. Well.

Delmonico, Slim and Trinity moved to Nebrassky. Along the way, Trinity saw some ladies in a wagon and took off with them. Slim and Delmonico set up camp and built a dugout... with Slim going home every weekend to be with his wife and thirteen (or is it fifteen?) children. Delmonico got a mail order house and had it built by the Bohunks. The cupola of the house is reserved for the Frumpy Fairy Godmother, who won't take up residence with a bunch of ornery men, so she's just a guest. Trinity finally found them and set up several still in the hills of the area. They now have cattle, sheep, chickens, pigs a field of corn and a Gopher Grease, who cooks as well as Delmonico, but doesn't lace his food with castor oil.

They have had several visitors, most notably the black helicopters that have taken Slim away a time or two. But since Gopher Grease brought in the heavy armament and trashed the Frumpy Fairy Godmother's room, neither they nor the aliens have been seen.

Three dogs are in residence, Claire, Trinity's drinking buddy, Duke, who joined Del and Slim before they established camp, and Daisy, just to keep Duke smiling.

Del has set up a coaloil computer and used barbed wire so he could have hi-speed broadband. He spends a lot of time in his office with Duke, plotting his next mischief. Because of his mayhem, the Frumpy Fairy Godmother has used her magic wand to turn Del into a variety of creatures, in an attempt to instill humility into the surly cosie.

Trinity's two favourite drinking partners are a sheep named "Sheep," and the rooster named "Cletus." Trinity just discovered that Cletus is dead.

The Frumpy Fairy Godmother wishes Trinity would bathe more often. The Frumpy Fairy Godmother doesn't know she's imaginary. She doesn't know anyone named AnnieLee.

There's no outline to this saga, it's whatever the authors can think of at the moment. The authors have been known to go "out of character" and post stuff for no particular reason.

Anyone and everyone is welcome to become a part of the Newbrassky story.

Oh, and when ever possible, Del inserts "poop" into the story.

I left out a lot of stuff. But with 2313 posts... And you did ask for the Cliff Notes version!

A good spinoff is "A true made up tale of the west..."  ;D ;D

In tonight's episode, the kid has brought in his rough and tough, and big father to straighten out Delmonico.  However, since that is never possible...

Tune in to see what happens!

Well, if you go back a ways, you find Fort Sill, Nuther Story, and South from Dodge.

Who knows?

Those were all prequels, part of the same story.  Delmonico had us moving all over the place until he finally settled on Newbrassky.  In fact, you can see in the early days of Newbrassky he still went back to the other threads for whatever reason.   ;D

Ahhh, Nuthor story was a spin off of the welcome to Sgt. Smokepole up in the Longbranch, I thought the Moderator was gonna end up whoopin' on us so I brought it down to Tall Tales and stated another thread. ;D

annie came to Newbrassky one day when TFS was down and she was havin' a bad day.  I was doin' laundry, bakin' sourdough French bread and doin' a battle of wits with Slim and his Google. ;D

That also was the day I had the big center-peed in the kitchen that scattered legs all over when I whooped on him. ;D  I think annie blew Pepsi all over her pewter screen that day. :P
