Rossi 480 Ruger calibre

Have read about this calibre, but never seen one..  One was advertised a few years ago in St Charles Missouri.  Was gone when I found the ad.  anyone heard if this  variant. Or have any info for this

Never had a rifle chambered in it but I've had some revolvers and killed a bunch of deer with that round. It's a shorted 475 Linebaugh.

Had a custom made "Big Horn Armory" lever come through our gun shop in 500 S&W.  Looked like a cross between an 1892 and 1886 (A little longer frame than a 1892, but a hinged loading gate...) It was a beast of a gun....
