Title: Splitting posts
Post by: Marshal Halloway on February 28, 2004, 11:53:07 PM
Howdy citizens...

As some of you may have experienced, your posting on a specific thread has ended up as a new topic. Nope, it's not your memory that is failing believing you have done an error.

This is a moderator option in Forum Hall to make the discussions easier to monitor and engage in.

When someone starts a new thread within an existing thread and the moderator feels this is a good topic of its own, the system makes it possible to split the topic with a couple of clicks. Moderator can either move one post to a new thread or move the specific post together with the follow ups.

That's a right good idea.  Threads get off topic so quickly.
