‘73 Cattleman 22 conversion

Hi to all…haven’t been here in quite awhile.
I have a Uberti 1873 Cattleman w/ 4.75” barrel.
45LC with a 45ACP add’l cylinder.

My wife wants to take up the hobby (shooting) so I wanted to get the 22 conversion kit for her to learn/practice  but they have not been made for a long time and I cannot find one anywhere.

Someone bought them and someone has one sitting around looking for a good home.
LMK if you happen to have a kit and want to sell or do some horse-trading’.

For the same price or a little cheaper you could always look into a heritage revolver... my young shooters love theirs!

Just looked it up and made the purchase.

I saw some 12 shot 22lr barrels for this guns as a conversion cylinder but couldn't get my head around how this would work...
the timing wouldn't work.
If it does could someone explain how that would work.

I believe it has to do with shorter teeth on the cylinder.  I remember reading somewhere, not that long ago, that revolvers with more rounds "wearout" sooner. More teeth on the cylinder and more cylinder stops. This would cause more wear on parts, but would be a fun way to shoot!
