Oh! I like Golden Corral  :) as for buffets the Chinese in town is the BOMB....
It has a rather extensive menu, in Seafood & Sushi, and Mongolian Grill.

Safe travels Prof! 66 here today and cloudy with heavy rain in the forecast. Heading out in a few minutes to have dinner at Golden Corral, I love the place but my Missus hates buffets, so while she's out of town I'm gonna hit the place. Just ordered the shell holder for the Rolling Block, so hopefully can get it running soon.

83° and mostly cloudy, 51% rain, all as an eastern outfall of Raphael.
No real concerns of any heavy weather here as a result of same.

Had to retire the Cen. Air cond. system in the house...
in Florida they are both indispensable and heavy worked and relied on.
So. my system (Lenox) served me well for almost 13 years.
Having replaced the earlier Carrier system @ 10-11 years.

So, the new (Lenox) unit was installed in 6 yours.
At 20 seer it will save Electricity, is controllable by Bluetooth
and my smart phone when away.

Well lets see.

Here in beautiful downtown San Antonio, on the riverwalk, we have a balmy 85 degrees, and are watching the weather news.

Cuba was crushed by the huricane, California and parts of New Jersey are on fire
and Winter Storm Anya ( spawned by huricane Raphael ) has the entire Front Range of Colorado socked in from north of
Denver all along I25 past the New Mexico Border. I 40 from Tejas ( texas for the illiterati )
To Albuquerque is bumper to bumper.

Fortunately the technorati at the airlines saw this coming, texted us, and gave us the option to change flights without any fee incurred. We are leaving early ( in 45 minutes instead of 3pm ) and going thru houston instead oj denver.

God Willing we will make it home today.

Odd, I'm getting e-mail notifications, but if I come here the Alerts tab is blank. Any ideas why?

Was a care package of coffee and dog food outside my door this morning.  Tire is still flat but it don't matter.  Kids said they'd come by and get it, don't need anything that bad, plenty to eat here, am out of anchovies, they are in the oven with the rest of the pizza. I have ham and bacon, plus smoked hog jowls, might be fun. ;D
