I had the extreme honor and privilege of watching my youngest daughter graduate from Basic Probation Officer Training at the police academy last Thursday. She even graduated top of her class in academics. Candice is now a fully licensed probation officer with the Georgia Department of Corrections, complete with a badge and a Glock 23 (God help us!
) She has been through a lot the past year, what with her fiance's lymphoma and all (BTW, he is still cancer-free as we speak). But she made it, and with flying colors to boot. I'm so happy for her, I could bust.
Just wanted to share it with all of you.
