Always had multiple guns in my collection mainly simi autos but I always had some form of 6 shooter but I’m bad about trading. Well for several years I have wanted a Schofield but just never had that kind of money and used ones are hard to find and usually not it good shape. So last year I decided I want a nice 6 gun. A Ruger super Blackhawk is what I had in mind. So I put up a old AK 47 that I got back in 2002 for trade. Only paid $199 for it so I bought 2. Now these things are selling for good money these . I got a lot of offers but most were beat up or had too long a barrel. I like short barrels. So I got an offer for a Super Redhawk 7 in barrel and a scope in .44 mag not what I was looking for but I new it would be a good trader. So after searching the gun shops and pawn shops I ran across a S&W 629 3 inch so I worked out a trade. Then after more months of looking I ran up on. Uberti Schofield 5 inch .45 just what I was looking for so another trade was worked out and I now have a beautiful blued Schofield 5 incher with the fake ivory grips. Fit and finish is excellent . So it took a while but I got what I was looking for without settling. This one is a keeper.
