Most anything will work. My preference in black powder loads is 16-1 or 20-1 lead tin. Smokeless in higher velocity I like #2 alloy

Good morning all!  What's a good mix of alloys to use for casting. Pure lead , wheel weights,  linotype and solder to be used. Just asking. Joel Foss

Going to bed, not doing to much but my pulse is at 63.  BP right on the dot 123/62.   Even had coffee and moved some small boxes of books someone left Rita in off the porch and never went over 85.  Not going to try and pick up anyone who falls but much better.

 Good Troy, i wasn't sure what i was (am) going to do w/ the barrel as in taper or oct. or 1/2 rd. I remember see a 22 w/ this style of front sight (50 yrs. ago), so i copied it, more or less so help yourself and glad to help.

 Ranch 13, it was like i said someone's project that never got finished. I was friends w/ the feller. He was building it for a target shooter but died from an aneurism. It had a large forearm (not finished) & a broken stock w/ a high cheek piece. I'm still not sure i will keep it myself. BUT, i'm having a good time and enjoying shooting it(her)I still have a few questions about the action and will be looking for some help. The Williams peep sight is working out just fine, i not really a scope guy.
