Nice. I bought the Uberti version, should have it in hand tomorrow. mine is 45 Colt.

I have original Colts and original Remingtons but my hands fit the latter so much better.

 I collect Remingtons because it seems like they are the red headed stepchild of period revolvers.

I like the 75's, you see the web and you know its a Remington. The 90 looks like a Colt, hard to tell the difference unless looking close.

I have original Colts and original Remingtons but my hands fit the latter so much better.

I love my Smith & Wessons; but I shoot the 1875 Remington better.

I like the 75's, you see the web and you know its a Remington. The 90 looks like a Colt, hard to tell the difference unless looking close.

I actually prefer the distinct appearance of the 1875 (have three Uberti clones) … although the shorter-barreled versions don’t look right, to my eyes … and, of course, the ‘75 is “historically correct” over a greater range of years. That said, a chap I knew had an 1890 clone, with fire blue finish, which was truly a thing of beauty …

I wish they would provide proper grips with the 1890s.  The originals came with hard rubber grips with Remington monogram standard.  Uberti only offers wood except on special models.

You might try NC Ordnance, for your Grips... if he still operating that is

A heads up though, he does have something of a gray history with some... mostly wags that took an attitude with him or bi*ched to
Consumer complaints ...I on the other hand had good outcomes with his grips.
I only mention it because mileage varies

Reproduction “hard rubber” (I put that in quotes because I am pretty sure these are actually all modern polymer castings) grip sets for Remington single action revolvers are offered by:

Vintage Gun Grips (vintagegungrips.com … $41.50 + $16.00 for hardware),   

N.C. Ordnance (gungrip.com, $35.00, says most grip sets include the hardware, has a downloadable exact size template to check against your frame, but the listing says the grips do not fit the Uberti 1875)

Hand Gun Grips (handgungrips.com, 29.95 … might be out of stock, but the site let me add them to a cart, so I think it may just be the separate hardware which is out of stock - if so, you could probably use the escutcheons and screws from your existing grips.)

I have two sets of those grips that I bought several year apart and neither fits anything.  Won’t fit any of my copies and won’t fir my originals.  The two panels are not even the same size. 

On the other hand, I have three sets from him in white purchased 20 years ago that fit perfectly on my Uberti. 

I just gave up on them.  I have made several grip sets for my originals out of walnut.  I only needed one set but enjoyed the process (during Covid) so I made a bunch.  Each frame is a different critter so it is not one size fits all.

Odd thing I noticed on my new 1890 is that the barrel is stamped 45ACP, not 45 Colt. In fact the ACP cylinder was in the gun when delivered and the extra Colt cylinder was in the box. When purchasing it was for the 45 Colt with extra ACP cylinder. I just thought it was odd that the barrel was stamped 45 ACP.

I always look at revolvers with an eye to how I can use them once I've fired all 5 or 6 shots (you'll never catch me with an aluminum-framed snubby!).  The 1875 Remington looks like something I would come up after a couple days of no sleep and too much coffee.  Needs a spring-loaded bayonet and it would be perfect.

Those look good. I wonder if the bore is actually slightly smaller for 45 ACP, hence the stamping on the barrel?
