Rain here is supposed to start tomorrow and continue off and on for around 10 days, My lawn needs mowing, but is still too soggy to use the lawn tractor on it.  >:( >:(

A year older today, somewhat wiser  :-\ guessers say 100% rain.
I'll put the water on and stoke the fire for later risers , I'm gonna go climb back in the bedroll.

I'm not kicking any field golds or planning competition on Dancing with the Stars.  ???
But the big toe is no longer under wraps , has resumed near normal color, back from its Chinese red glow and close to normal size.
I figure I may get a shoe on tomorrow  :-\

That is the excitement, on today's agenda at this camp !

Sunny here, waiting for the garden to dry out some. Was dry enough about a week or 10 days ago, but, found one of the tiller tires had "let go" over the winter. Split open about 5-6". And tines were worn out. Quick trip to ebay, got tires and tubes, and tines in earlier this week. All assembled now, even changed the engine and gearbox oil, I figured about 35 years is a good "oil change frequency" for the gear oil..... ::)
Only way I had to refill it through the small hole hidden behind the left wheel, was an oil squirt gun with a flexible nozzle. Took almost a gallon of gear oil, and an hour of time, many, many refills of the oil can. Someone else can do it for the next 35 year service. ;D

Thanks for the coffee Slim...

No luck yesterday. It ended up being a older Male dog. One we were lead to earlier in the week. Another person said they would adopt the old boy. So at least he has a home to go to.
