Lost a spring and plunger
« on: November 29, 2008, 07:58:32 PM »
Two Flints

While cleaning my Spencer Carbine 56-50 the other day I lost, yes gone for ever, eaten up by the floor the spring and plunger that go under the cartridge keeper lever.  Well I have the owner's manual by Armi Sport that came with the carbine when I purchased it from Taylor's.  The exploded view of the weapon does not show the plunger and spring.  I went to the Armi Chiappa web site and it showes in the expolded view the spring(#39) and plunger(#38) but I can not find the part numbers on the web site.  I also could not find the Spencer looking at the VTI web site, do they not sell parts for the Spencer?
Any info would help.

Texas Sarge,

Email Ron Norton, who is the man to contact for hard to get parts for the Armi Sport Spencer.  His Email address is   rnorton@chiappafirearms.com  Please tell him you are a member of SSS and that I gave you his Email address.  Please let me know what happens.

Thanks,
