Agreed, auctions do set what it's worth to someone.

My final GB transaction in 2021 (and will continue final)
there were several bids and bidders, it got down to 3 then 2
My CAP. bid was just $7 over the other bidder when the gavel fell.
I was satisfied it was fair

Sadly GB isn't safe from scammers these days.

One thing you have to say about auction sites is they reflect what the actual going price for something is.  If it sold, that's what it's worth to someone.  Especially if you see several sell at that price.

Quote from: wercvvbb on May 15, 2011, 08:06:50 AMDo you know when this William Robert died because he looks a lot like a William Roberts alias Brushy Bill?  I know Brushy had to have lived in New Mexico or knew people that knew Billy even if he wasn't the KID

There is information about this at the Brushy Bill forum. It appears William Robert is the same person as William Roberts alias Brushy Bill.

Holy Cow!!!!  Those are amazing prices.  Any idea what powders in the loaded rounds?
I'm well set up for .45-75 and .50-95 brass so I shouldn't even contemplate buying any.

Many thanks for posting this Boone!

There was no need, no, there was no damned need for a political comment on this thread, so it has been removed.

There are forums to discuss politics on but not on CAS City. It's done, gone and not to be revived. ::)  ::)  ::)  ::)  ::)  ::)  ::)  ::)  ::)  ::)  ::)  ::)  ::)  ::)  ::)

Last November I actually saw a Kamerlader. BEHIND GLASS in a museum in Sweden. It was a Match prize rifle, engraved with the winners name and event. I guess this was during the period that the two countries were in a United Kingdom situation?

Yeah, that's true too,

Milsurps have headed toward the stratosphere.
Even Ethiopian Emperor Selassie's Treasure beaters from Royal Tiger are seeing
 $200 + for DP only non-firing clunkers missing parts  ::)
