Found a high serial number Spencer carbine I would like to purchase 100438 but cannot fins much information, so I?m coming here for help, thanks Chris!

Hello:
For starters, Marcot, page 103, indicates that 100000 range serial numbers were for post Civil War Model 1867's. There are other SSS members with lots more knowledge. Stay tuned.
