93 Marlin at 127 years
Roosterman:
I have had this rifle since last fall .38 55 made in 1896. 26 inch barrel. Beaches front sight and an original tang mounted peep. The original rear barrel sight was removed at some time. The bore is like new.. This is the first 10 shots out of the barrel, 250grain bullet and 48grains of KIK. TWO GROUPS HERE, THE UPPER RIGHT were the first five, then I made a slight adjustment to the peep and shot the lower five. All off handat 50 yards. After this target I shot another20 round massacreing silly wets at 50 yards. Even hit one on edge!
Silver Creek Slim:
I have one made in 1906 with a buckhorn rear sight. I have shot it at GAF musters. I shot it at an Iowa muster out to 400 yards.

Cool beans man. The cool factor is very high with these old marlins
Much more attractive then they sell today. Slicker than snot on a door knob.
