I have two Windlass swords and am very happy with them.  Having been in the Army as a officer and the Marine Corps as a Staff NCO, I had to have one of each and they are better than the issue swords we used from the armory.

They're Great.  I've got a Windless 1902 US Army All Officers Saber and an 1840 Artillery Officers Saber and they are just great.  One day soon I plan to get one of the Staff and Field Grade Officers Saber.
Listen!  Do you hear that?  The roar of Cannons and the screams of the dying.  Ahh!  Music to my ears.

Windlass is an excellent maker, probably the top of the line for the mid priced manufacturers.  I've got their 1850 Staff officer, well worth the money.
Civilize them with a Krag . . .
