John Wayne Style Holsters

Have wanted to make a set of holsters in the John Wayne style for a while and finally got around to doing so. I finished these in a dark brown dye. They house 5.5" Ruger or Colt style revolvers.

Those in the holsters are actually OMV but I tried them out with New Vaquero and a Colt clone also.

Thanks, that means a whole lot of other things will fit, too. I wonder how an 1875 or 1890 Remington would fit? The dark brown color is good on them. Very nice work.
