That's what they do, they ask you who you are the, the day the month and the year and if you know where you are.

Yeesh, took all day at the dealer to get a 1/2 hour job done. We've owned 6 Hyundais in a row, but this dealer down here has me doubting if we get another one next year. We were SPOILED by a great dealer up North. Hope this got the mischief out of the way for this month!

Evening y'all.
I was called into verk early because of issues.  ::)

Looking forward to 3 days off.

Need to replace the A/C belt on the Avalanche. Of course, the main serpentine belt has to be taken off to put the A/C on.  ::)

Morning y'all.
Coffee and tea are ready.

'Tis 69 and partly sunny. "Mostly sunny in the morning then becoming mostly cloudy. A slight chance of showers in the morning  then a chance of showers and a slight chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon. Highs around 80. West wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 40 percent."

Morning folks, 84 here right now, heading for 91. We were gonna have some family over tonight, but Lady C isn't feeling well, so I cancelled it. If she pushes hard, she gets sick anymore, so I am [over?] protective.Supposed to have a new CAS hat delivered today according to the USPS, a Bailey Derby. Hope I like it and I am expecting an eye roll from the Missus!

Had to replace the tensioner, also. $75 later, I have A/C in the Avalanche again.

Afternoon all.

Shaping up to be a pleasant day on the Dark Continent. And by nice I mean that it’s 95 at midnight, and we’re in the middle of a dust storm. This weather is starting to make me real sympathetic to the Oakies of yesteryear.  ::)

Went to the gym for the first time with our free Silver Sneakers pass, Rita walked in the pool, I went and did 30 minutes with a thing called a NuStep, made 1800 and a few steps with it set on 7.   Used one at Tabatha and it was what was recommended to start with.   O2 was 96 when done and heartrate was 85, stopped at 20 minutes for about 3 minutes and went back to it.  Didn't take BP thing because it is never a problem.

Going to get a swim suit and next time meet her in the pool and walk some, she quit early because she saw me waiting.  Wish those 1890 type suits weren't so expensive, will just get a cheap T Shirt to wear because I will admit I look a bit nasty because of my scarring problems.  May scare some of the kids bad.  Almost looks like a 1/2 rope. ::)

Found a nice pound of so pork boneless sirloin at the store, 25% off, freeze it or make chili verde burritos,  well it didn't say that but,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, ;D  Simmered it 2 hours till meat pulled, used a brand of chili verde sauce made in Mexico, tomatillos can be hard to find here, actually as good as I can make.

I did a Brisket that way for tonight, slow cooked it all day...mmmmm good
I got it at Aldie's ....

In other news, you might say my ship well BOAT came in  :)

This is the WW2 Liberty ship lifeboat that was donated to the museum.
We had to move a lot around just to get it in the building, now it's a matter of restoring the moved exhibits.

This thing is UBER cool, has the oars and even a ration box (empty however)

Latest update

Jonathan went into AFIB again and stopped breathing,The pacemaker isn't working. The Drs. have put in a central line and are feeding him through a tube.He is in extensive pain.
From his Grandmother today...
They gave Jonathan a blood transfusion last night. He has a leak in his heart. Hoping meds and transfusions will bring his hemoglobin and potassium up or else they will have to open him up again. They gave John a blood transfusion last night. He has a leak in his heart. Hoping meds and transfusions will bring his hemoglobin and potassium up or else they will have to open him up again.
This won't solve the big problem though. It would just bring him to his previous condition.  I'm not being pessimistic,  it is reality.

Please keep Jonathan in your thoughts and prayers, He is a young man with his whole life ahead of him. Thank you
