Been there done that... We appreciate all the support

I found this in the safe, it's a Worcester, Auto Ordnance A1 , (I deactivated it yesterday  :() and it will be in the WW2 glass gun case, after the temporary set for Dec.7th.

All I did was pull the springs and striker, but I would have like to have shot it first, one day I can reverse it.

Morning y'all.
Coffee and tea are ready.

Got 1/2" of crunchy sn*w on the ground.

'Tis 21, overcast and blustery. WC 6. "Windy. Cloudy with scattered snow showers in the morning  then mostly sunny in the afternoon. Some blowing and drifting snow. Highs in the upper 20s. Temperatures falling into the lower teens in the afternoon. West wind 20 to 30 mph with gusts to around 45 mph. Chance of snow 30 percent. Wind chills to 10 below zero."

Howdy all. 46 here right now and sunny. Ran errands, got an "Attaboy" from the Missus, then screwed up with an "Oh crap..." so there went that!

Howdy y’all from the wet but warm central Alabama. In the mid 60°’s

I have glanced in from time to time. Everything seems the same.

Chatting with Little Brother early this morning. He was in route to Dallas from Missoula, then to Cleveland. Said it had turned cold and was starting to snow in the Kid’s  home place.

Glen hope you got the antibiotics started and you recover soon.

Roger I am bit envious of the work you are doing. The display are awesome. Your talent in building display and knowledge of what’s in them are a plus.
Hope your Pearl Harbor day display is equally as great.

To the other Major/Jeffery. I bet your still not getting ( well the algorithms here won’t let me spell out notification ) your notices .

Kid get you cold weather gear out.

The rest of you keep your powder and backyard dry.

Will look in again around Christmas

Good to see you Roo, I tried calling once, just let us know once in a while you are OK, keeps me from searching the obits and yes I did.

Rode with the wife, went in at Petsmart, didn't take
riley, he lost hair when the fleas hit a while back and it's just growing back, may have had a touch of the mange, dang warm fall and mangy flea bitten coon hanging around.

Evening all.

Good to see you on the right side of the sod, Roo. It is indeed cold and white here in ZooTown. Actually had to bust out the Carhartt yesterday. It only accumulated about 4-5 inches of white stuff, but it was really wet and slippery, then the temperature dropped more, so the whole city got a sheet of ice. According to local news, there were nearly 100 reported accidents, 4 fatalities. I saw no less than a dozen throughout the day. The Mrs made me drive her home.

In other news, I’m heading to Spokane tomorrow for my final interview with CBP. From there it’s just a polygraph and a fitness test.

After a crazy week of unpacking, repacking, decorating (indoor and out) got the wife to the airport for her pilgrimage to Milwaukee.

For those that were up as early as we were:
The water’s hot, the coffee’s brewed, teabags are in the canister (haven’t gotten to doing loose tea yet, as I still don’t taste the paper bag unless I eat it).

Weather here is turning:

TODAY THU 12/09 HIGH 41 °F

92% Precip. / 0 in
Snow this morning will give way to some clearing this afternoon. High 41F. Winds NNW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of snow 90%. Snow accumulations less than one inch.

Still our lower ski hill is planning on opening tomorrow.  I guess they plan on using the next week of colder weather to allow snow making on the Hill.

Cat’s and I are going into hibernation for the rest of the day.  We may start wreaking havoc tomorrow.

We got colder weather here in IL. Not much doing.

Lost my grandfather last week. I inherited his Sharps rifle and Pietta 1858. Gonna buy a Walker to remember him by, we were both big fans of the 1969 True Grit.
