Title: Using 2 Inch Shells in Model 12

I used my 2 inch shells in my club's WildBunch match last Saturday and they work great in my M12!!! I had a small hiccup on the first stage where the last two didn't want to feed as smoothly as the other five but I started tilting the sg to the left when racking which solved the problem. If I was confident that I could do it I'd take it apart and cut a chamfer on the inside of the front of the ejection port. I didn't have any trouble rocking the resetting sg targets. I'll use the 2 inch shells again, just need to work on my 2 inch technique.

I no longer have a Model 12. My match shottie for wild bunch is a model '97. I tried short rounds to gain mag capacity and found that shells cut to 2 inches and roll crimped got lost on the way from mag to maw. By trial and error I found that hulls cut to 2 3/8 inches and roll crimped worked a dream and just got the extra round in the tube.

On re-reading this post, it seems I made an itty bitty error!

The "cut-to" length to get a great m '97 load is 2 3/8 inches, then roll crimped.
