I appreciate finding links with photos as it helps a bit with restoring memory and provides something of a therapy for me.

Photos show some neat aspects of NCOWS....the targets are a bit more challenging than SASS. Also loved seeing the Schofield & Colt open-top style revolvers & lots of full-length barrels...Women-folk seem to like em, too. 

Looks like my secret is out with Colt C&B and the conversion styles - can everyone say "foot-long" sight radius.

I hope to be there.  But it really comes down to finances.  I can only make so many NCOWS trips in a year.  But I am keeping my fingers crossed it works out this year.

Just wanted to put this out, if you have a pocket pistol pack it along with you to the Eastern Regional you may have a use for it.
Also Roger Mills of Wind River Outfitters will be back this year with his chuck wagon cooking up our noon meal.

Mike Stapleton was kind enough to write the main stages for this years regional.
The main match round count is 100 pistol, 88 rifle, and 18 shotgun for the 4 gun shooters. Be sure to bring extra for side matches.
You'll also need at least 2 rounds for you pocket pistol if you bring one, if not I'll have a couple on hand to use for one of the side matches.

8:30 - 10:00 Check in / Registration
10:00 Mandatory safety meeting.
Long range to start immediately after safety meeting.
12:00 - 1:00 Lunch
1:00 Safety meeting for side matches, long range continues.
1:30 Side matches
3:00 Cowboy trap.

Friday Sept. 30
8:30 - 10:00 Check in / Registration
10:00 Mandatory safety meeting
Main match to start immediately after safety meeting.(Odd stages)
12:00 - 1:00 Lunch
1:00 Continue main match

Saturday Oct. 1
10:00 Mandatory safety meeting
Main match to start immediately after safety meeting (Even stages)
12:00 - 1:00 Lunch
1:00 Continue main match
6:00 PM- 9:00 PM Banquet at Mark's Feed Store restaurant in Elizabethtown.

Lunch will be available at the range.

The Eastern Regional is 2 weeks away, hope everyone has sent their registrations in and have motel arrangements made. The last date to reserve rooms at the reduced rate is next Friday, September 16.
