Grip for an 1878
« on: March 03, 2020, 02:46:01 PM »
I have an 1878 that needs a right side grip.  Does anyone know of a source?  It is the normal gutta percha or rubber grip from 1885.

Tascosa Joe , I have seen original 1878 Colt grips for sale on E-bay every so often .  Usually pricey ! I'll keep an eye out .,,,,DT

Thanks DT.  I don't get on Ebay that often.  My 78 is a nickle 7 1/2 .45 with the Pall Mall London address.  It letters to London in 1885 and the finish and barrel length match the letter.

That sounds like an interesting Colt . Was a hand full of fire power in 1885 and still is today . ,,,DT
