N frame concealment holster.
« on: November 07, 2022, 12:30:56 PM »
I know this is a bit out of the realm of what we like to talk about here on CASCity, but I figured I’d share the latest rig I’ve done. Literally fresh off the bench.

A bit of a take on the original single loop Summer Special from Bruce Nelson, made to fit a 4” N frame. Made from Hermann Oak, metal reinforced throat with marine grade pull the dot snaps. A lot of hand stitching, but a fun holster to make.

Hope everyone is doing well and has a great week!

God bless,

Ethan

Looks good. I like the way you can stow the keeper strap. Nice job.

Great design. Looks good. Thanks for sharing.

BCD, thanks for giving Bruce Nelson credit for the original "Summer Special" concept.  He was a personal friend of mine after he moved to Tucson, AZ from the dreaded California.

Your holster looks excellent.  Very well executed.  Congratulations!

Thank you! So awesome that you knew him. He was one of my heroes of holster making and design along with Meanea, Myres, Brill, Gaylord, Sparks and Rybka. Me being 25, Mr. Nelson was gone long before I started leatherwork, but man did he make it easier for us these days.
