Gunbroker Follies
« on: March 07, 2023, 12:42:50 PM »
The things that you see on Gunbroker..............I was watching a Colt Official Police through a couple of cycles at $475 with no bidders.  I checked again today, and the seller evidently decided it may sell better if he added a thousand dollars to the price!  Maybe he's right!

How about this for a GB Folly?  100 pieces of virgin R.P. 30-40 Krag brass, .01 auction, 33 bidders, and ended tonight after one 15 minute extension for $400! By my elementary math skills that's FOUR DOLLARS A PIECE!  Maybe we should shoot the Krags from one location like when we did the Wagonbox Fight, then the targetsetters are the only ones that need to walk!

Are you the one that sold the brass?  Excellent timing, apparently.

No, I bought a bunch of Krag brass a couple months ago for a project.  At those prices, about a good rifle's worth!  I'm glad I bought at the right time (or as close as we get these days).  As a general rule, if I'm going to sell brass, dies, etc, I post it here first--and this is the first place I look for brass etc.
