 ???  Went to Sportsmans warehouse the other day. Whats this hangging behind the counter???? New Ubertis in several calibers and all three barrel lengths and 3 different grip options.  Oh boy mr salesman can i see that one in 45 with the 7 inch barrel,thank ya sir . Mind if it try the action? No ya dont mind .... cool... What the.... since when has uberti put transfer bar systems in their colts???? Please tell me they all arent like this ..... Sure enough every on on the wall had this travesty on board. Anyone else seen this?

You were looking at Uberti Horseman... Technically, they are not new ,Uberti made them for Beretta called the Stampede. ( discontinued about 6 years ago )

The Cattleman models are still made with the Hammer firing pin.....   


FYI

Pietta has also introduce a Transfer Bar model to thier line of SAA's  , its been out about 2 years or so...
when planets align...do the deal !

Many of the Uberti's do have that hammer safety gizmo in it. If you want one made like it is supposed to be buy the Cimarron.
