Attaching belt loops
« on: March 25, 2009, 08:06:32 AM »
Once the belt loop is folded and glued it is ready to be glued to the back of the holster.  We should have scuffed up the smooth surface on the loops down side earlier and I actually used the belt sander to taper and thin it out a bit more before adding glue and then clamping it in place.  (I actually performed the 'fold and glue loop' and the 'glue loop to holster' all as one step but that is not really the best way to do it.

Some tough sewing here but we got it done.  You could add a rivet or two if you prefer, the area of attachment does not rub on the gun.  The heavy thickness of this leather would also allow recessing the rivet well.
