Nice one Stump, I'll pass it around down here.
How do you and Camille spend Christmas Stump?  My wife Laura Norder and I  spend it at home and our kids and their wives and the grandkids come for lunch and presents etc,the kids realy make it.
Looks like it will be a hot one though, getting into summer now and have had some scorchers already,. Nice and cool were you are I would think and makes the nice Christmas dinner more enjoyable.
Regards..............Texas Tall. :) :) :)

Been missing you boys, wondered where you were, still not sure if a good Kiwi boy such as myself should associate with a Kangaroo though. Maybe we could incorporate a rampant Kiwi here also.

Bad time last weekend, took motor bike for a spin and when going round a nice sweeping right hander the front wheel caught some gravel tha had been kicked up from a side road.

Bike just cosmetically damaged, I wont be shooting for a few weeks. 2 bromen toes, cuts and bruises all up my side and a busted collar bone. Would have to be my shooting side,

Been hot here in South Auckland also. Just under the 30 degree mark for the last few days with high humidity. Could be worse I could be in the UK where it has been snowing so my kids tell me. Prefer hot to cold.

Dai hi

You got to watch them two legged animals, they are a  bit unstable you won't one with a leg on each corner. Gives you a better ride.

We been busy over here had our CASS christmas patry at the weekend,a big weekend.

Stay out of the gravel.

It seems to be missing the reticule for a scope superimposed over top.

We could post pics of possums, protected in OZ and exterminated in NZ.

Sorry to hear about your accident Dai.  Hope your recovery is quick.

Camille you can call them cute, but them do cause a lot of damage to crops. and have become a pest to the farmer.

I heal quickly, couple of weeks and I will be able to lift a revolver, bit longer to shoulder a long arm. Started practicing left handed, always fancied Gunfighter.

Whats cute?

possums or Roos?

Estimated 70 million possums here in NZ and they are real pests. No Roos but we have wallabies, open season on those also.

Pretty much any animal that isnt native or domestic to NZ is open season. Hunters paradise.

Not an easy place to hunt though. If any of you are into hunting and wish to try here let me know and I could set you up with the real thing through proper hunters not the tourist guide types.

eg Pig hunting with a knife not a gun (200lb tuskers). All types of deer,

We have a competition here in the South Island every Easter. The Great Easter Bunny Hunt. Teams of hunters out to get as many rabbits in 24 hours as possible.

up to 30,000 each year taken.

Possums ain't nothing more than a big rat, they stink and they ain't cute.  We ain't got Roos over here so they look kind of cute....cute don't necessarily mean that I want them around though.  Squirrels are cute but I been trapping the little buggers and carrying them offlike mad.  Didn't shoot them 'cause the neighbors are too close.  Kill or carry off the mum and the cats get the babes.  :D

Hi there Camille, well you can call the Roos cute if you like as the babys and small wallabys are cute
same as most animals but as Dakota said there're a pain in the butt to the farmers and crop growers.
When you and Stump come over (we're going to talk you into this)we'll take you to some parks were you can feed them etc and yep, they are CUTE.
Hope you are getting some fun reading the newsletters Dakota sent over and a few laughs and as promissed when Christmas is over will get a few discs on the way to you.
Regards..........Texas Tall. ;) ;) ;)

The newsletters are great.  I'm going to include them as reading material on the 7 hour drive that we are going to make for Christmas.  Thanks again for sending them.

Camille, the same goes for the Lead posse as well. Take care with the travelling. We would love to see you over here to have a shot (a long way to travel to shoot for 15 minutes, but what the heck, we have a lot of fun doing it).

To all, stay safe and enjoy whatever is planned.

Kindest regards

Dont forget us poor cousins across the "pond"

If Camille comes all the way to OZ she might as well step accross the pond and visit with us a while also.

We could get her out possuming

or even have her go after a Captain Cooker with a nice pig sticker.

Maybe we could get Stump to do the later.

Nothing like hunting a wild boar with nothing but a knife and a pack of dogs.

Dai.
