But For those who actually rely on the thingy to communicate via twit, or tweet or whatsoever

Thank you the timely "Heads Up."  Though I must share I have been following Twerper - er - Twitter soap opera as it has unfolded.  Mr. Tesla has done only exactly what he said he was going to do.

I for one, will be dramatically up-set should these developments result in Twitter going Tango Uniform, as it twer.

I don't use Twitter myself, but I do use facebook.

Like MOST corporations, I'm sure Twitter was incredibly top-heavy on the administration side and probably a full 1/2 of those administrators can be eliminated and nobody will notice any difference.

I was on Twitter but I got "Permanently Suspended" 2 years ago and they won't tell me exactly why! 
I use Facebook especially for the groups on there like SASS and the local clubs etc. It's a great way to keep in touch with relatives across the country. It's all about who you follow, if you're careful it's quite enjoyable. Twitter can kiss my %^$

I couldn't agree more.  The damage they have and are doing to our children is bad enough to justify closing it all down.  That's never going to happen but since I'm a 21st Century Luddite and don't even have a smart phone I can dream.

Never been on twitter and i am in my last days of FB. Those "social" media platforms tend to make people mean, and we do not need any more uncivility in this country. May not be long before I launch some rounds into this damn thing. Just plain damn sick of all of it.

Decrepit computer monitors DO make excellent targets. They are much tougher than you would think.

Awhile back, after countless invites and many years of avoiding FB.
I had a brain fart and signed up , one of the questions was my birth date.
I didn't care for them to know, so I left it blank....

I actually made my 1st and only post (if that what it's called) that I was on FB.

about 45 mins later, I received a message from FB  "my account was suspended ... Reason? they deemed me TOO YOUNG to be on  ....  I'm still suspended

 I can do without the MORONS!

It will be interesting to see how the Twit goes.  I only subscribed and follow the local fire and LEO agencies for “current” updates.
