Major 2, I got the K-22 in a trade, Guy that owned it traded it for a Ruger SP-101 .38 special I had, even trade.I think I got the better end of the deal.Sorry, but not for sale or trade.

I did a check on the SN on the K22, it too was made in 1948!

Trading or selling off something is my modus operandi now days...
Some of my favorite acquisitions were from a trade.
My late friend & shooting pard and I, traded numerous times.

I've also traded with my friend at the LGS. But only his own or retail stock.
If there is a consigned piece they know I'll have interest in, I get a heads up and a deal.
But It has to be cash, so I come up with that of sell something for the scratch. 

I have had to limit my search, as Gun Broker "IMHO" is no longer a safe haven.
 
Congrats to you both, K22's are very desirable, and to me 1948 would be icing on the cake!

Well, got the Colt 1991 home. Night sights and a good trigger. Even though it is plastic, it may stay in the gun. The plastic MSH has got to go though.
