I just KNOW this has been covered before, but how do I change my picture/avatar?

I found a much more  believable photo of me.

Pard, I think you go to your Profile, and then select "MODIFY PROFILE" located on the left side of screen, good luck!

Well, that confirms it...I'm dumber than a rock.

I went over like you said and can't figure out how to make it work.

Pic is in My Documents.

Try this:

Click on profile>
In the modify Profile section
   Click on Forum Profile information>
On the right click the circle "I will upload my own picture:"  (probably already checked)
Click on Browse>
Click on My Documents, and find you picture>
Double click the file>
Go to the bottom of the profile page and click on save profie>

Russ, I do that up to where I double click on the file...when I double click the window (My Documents) disappears and I'm back to the profile page.

That should be ok.  Did it fill in the blank in front of the browse button?  If so just scroll down the page and click on the Update Profile button.

Thank you, Griff! I had heard of the collection and read someplace that the Antietam photographs  were widely viewed, even though (or perhaps because) they were very graphic. I just didn't place the name with them.

Perhaps Mr. Brady took that picture of Forty-Rod?

That pic was taken for the chain of command board when I became a company commander of 526th Maintenance Company (Heavy Equipment) (General Support) in May of 1967. That was in the Machinato-Naha Service Area on Okinawa.

I wanted to post something to prove I didn't always make grown men weep, and women faint, and stunt the growth of babies and make them grow up with a stutter.   

I used to be positively GORGEOUS! 

Age, mileage, and experience have cured that for me. 

One of these days I'll get a picture that was taken since the last ice age.
