Not too much of a story.. After a bit, I decided that all my 45s would be mismatched.  So these are a pair, but not really.  I also use them to show kids, when I do a program, the way the guns looked when they were new and when old.

Thanks for askin',

Those are some fine lookin' irons, pards. Here's a pic or two of my Remmies. A totally mismatched pair, but a pair nonetheless.

And my main match AWA's which will be replaced by my HA Remmies when they get made.

I don't have any pictures of my new pair of Cimarron Model Ps, but I do have some of my 16-gauge Arrieta.  It's my bird gun.  Click on thumbnail pic, then click again on the larger picture to view the full size picture.

Howdy Folks!  This is my first post to the Forum, and I just want to say 'hi!'

Here's a couple pics of my cowboy guns. I'm still in the process of getting started in all this, so I only have two so far -- one pistol and a rifle.  I have a couple friends who are good enough to loan me a second pistol and a shotgun when I go to a match.  I want guns that feel right historically to me, so I've been taking my time.  I have a second Uberti on order.

The pistol is the Uberti Cattleman copy of the Colt Peacemaker, 45 Colt, in the 'antique' finish, which I fell in love with when I first saw it.

My rifle is a wonderful old Winchester '92 in 44-40.  I got pretty lucky with this one.  I got it from a friend of mine, an older gentleman who's not shooting anymore.  It's in very good condition -- smooth, tight action and a crisp trigger -- and it shoots beautifly.  I looked up the serial number (91xxx) in a friends book after I got it and was surprised to find it was made in 1895. So I guess it's the 'real thing.'   :)  It sure is purty.
