Chatting for Cowpokes October. (Remote sight)
« on: October 05, 2004, 12:02:47 PM »
Boy when I said we'd need to move the camp in October I never thought it would be this far. ;D

I got a fire going and put on some fresh coffee.  Let's see how long it takes Marshall, Slim, and High Seas to find this camp. ;)

EVERYONE IS WELCOME BY THE FIRE.  SERVER YOU OWN COFFEE  ;D

If it can't be nice, eaten, make money, create comfort or provide real pleasure.........kill it or trade it in on new one!

I am here. Big Hext might move it to "General discussions & tall tales" forum though.

Sit still long enough for the rest of us to find you............
Leave a trail marker or something......

Yes, Pete, I'd love some of that coffee!

Howdy, Lou.

Don't think Hext will move it today, cuz he is probably sleeping now since he works the night shift.

NE Regional was great -- except I'm too old to camp. ;D
Next time, I'm at the Cozy Inn.
It was great to get to meet some more pards I've never seen.  Ladylaw, Manatee, CC, Doc Workday to name a few.  Had a nice visit at my campsite with my pard Annie Lee while I cleaned guns.  Not quite a proper ladies "afternoon tea", but Annie and I are not your typical ladies!

Next year, we will find room for my Trapdoor to compete in single shot rifle, too.  I had planned on shooting the cowboy clays, but the flooding caused some problems and it was cancelled.  The only side match I did was rifle caliber rifle.  We had a flat that morning, so we were late getting started anyway.  It all worked out.  The folks at that club (cowboy and non-cowboy) were all just as nice as can be and did a wonderful job.  The stages were well-thought and laid out.  More movement than at some places, which I like.  Targets were big and some were so close, I worried about splashback.  The club is very big and it's a really lovely place -- right on the river.  It was a grand old time and I intend to do it again next year.

Howdy Lou.  I'm so jealous that you and Doc are traveling and meeting all these great folks who are still just electrons in cyberspace to me.  I look forward to meeting as many CAS pards as I can.

I know.  I don't love raising the kids.  Fact is my Kylie (5) loves shooting and will probably join me as soon as I allow her. ;D

Miz Kitty, how about a beer for Mark, keep 'em coming for Mathew over in that chair and I guess another pot of coffee is in order........

Yup, Pete, you can start a little girl sooner 'cause she will pay attention and follow directions at a younger age.  Don't forget I have a Baby Rolling Block, a Bearcat and a Marlin Mountie and no little girls to teach how to shoot  --- grandkids are a ways off yet for me.

Too old to camp?  You don't look a day over 20.

Next round's on me Kitty.
