NCOWS / 2024 Jerry Barnes Match

I think the match was a success.  Weather was hit and miss but there was as much laughter as there was shooting.

Here's a glimpse: Wooly Dan Carder.

Oh Heck.  Gonna be a "Scorcher" here today.  May well get alla way up to 68 or 9.  And it's gonna rain all day.  Make it a soggy drive to Cardiac Rehab.  Fact is, it's gonna rain most of the week.  Uck.

Keep yer powder dry  ::)

Yup!!  'Nother well done Deacon.  Gunfighters Rule you betcha.  That there Knew-Two-Ewe Ruger be a pretty nice bring home as well.  Although I don't really care for Ruger.

I'm looking at a USFA in 38/40, with the serial number being 22406. US parts gun? Turnbull CCH finish, 7.5" barrel, looks like new. Approximate value? Thanks.

Ah So Deska (Japanese for "No S&%T GI).  If I might, I would suggest checking with VTI, or EMF or Cimarron for a new Main Spring.  Specifically, PIETTA has a new "lighter" Main Spring in their GW II guns.  Very smooth, doesn't stack, and is not overly "light."  The new Springs came in my new El Malo.  I really like 'em.

« Last post by Coffinmaker on Today at 08:10:48 AM »

Well Hot Diggity!!  All this time I have been of the impression, Colt didn't convert the 1861s to suppositories.  I will say I have never seen one in captivity nor in the wild.  I also rate the Armi San Marco Richards as some of the best looking and shooting conversions built by any modern Mfg. even if 75% of them were mechanically KRAP.

Anyone have a pattern for this holster? I lucked out and picked up the revolver this past weekend and would love to make the correct holster and belt.
