You sure can join, Don Nix - but I sure wish you'd have asked about it on the post ABOUT the Cheapo Big Bore Club, so we could keep it all together.

Hi All,
Years ago (many) I was in Alaska and picked up a  Sharps rifle Sile 54 cal from IAB.  I knew the owner of a great gun store and he amde me an offer on a "sample" rifle.  I had bought a few black powder firearms from him.
The Sharps was never fired and I now want to fire it.
I'd like to join you all so I can figure out what to use - bullet and powder- so I don't blow it and myself up.
I have had a few black powder pistols and rifles, but lost the manual for this one.
So, would you let me join and help me fire my rifle (plus keep my fingers)?
Thanks in advance,
Bill
