LR...ya can always find a need for a truck, especially when ya don't have one. Was borrowin mom & dad's alot before I bought mine, for things other than the horse & saddle :D

Leo, I like Mopar  ;D You seen that new Challenger they got out? Looks pretty good in the pictures. I'm afraid they would charge me for droolin on it if I went to the dealership.  :D  Course ain't nothin' like the ones they are tryin to take the place of.

I always will have a truck or large SUV the rest of my life. I'm too tall and too big to fit in a car. I haul a lot of lawn care stuff in my old pickup and haulin' Miss "T" around.  My new pickup is a regular cab and it hasa fiberglass bedcover on it. It's got a V6 and it gets better gas mileage than the old pickup. Right now the new one is the one I drive when I go out of town.

Early 70's redo, just like the current Mustangs( of which we have one ;D) From the little press I 've seen on them, they're going to be few and quite pricey. Next year, GM's supposed to roll out a new Camaro.............Buck 8) ::) :-\

My friend in TX has the newer Mustang. That car is so much fun to cruz around in.

Yeah Leo that's the one...gonna have to rent one one of these days just for the heck of it.

We rented a charger on one of our trips. Nice car too.

This weekend is Hot August Nights here in Reno.  The streets are full of classic cars!  The only place to see more of them is in the various casino parking lots around Reno/Sparks where they have Show and Shines.

I haven't been up fer one of them in ages.  It's tempting this year.  Next month you'll get ta deal with Street Vibrations.  It's becoming one of the biggest MC runs in the country.  I never liked it, would rather see the cars.

Arcey, I'm sorry  I can't be there for that one. It's hard for me to turn down a ride in a Warbird.

They got one here this week-end, don't know if it's any good, never bothered to go down-town and put up with the Yuppies to find out. :)

Scarlet
Been going for about 10 years.  Ribs are good, but lines can be long.  Lots of arts and craft stuff.  It can get really hot, as the entire thing is set up on the main street of Sparks.  Lots of blacktop and concrete.  I enjoy it for the people, the beer, the ribs (they can get pricey), and the crafts. Parking can be a problem on Sat and Sun, unless you get there early, as it is basically downtown Sparks.  The same as this weekend with Hot August Nights.  The entire center of town is closed off to allow bands, cars, vendors, more cars, and more vendors.  Makes parking a major consideration.
