Abilene, I decided on Winchester's .357/38 special since ammo is readily available and reasonable. I realize the caliber isn't original but I also have a '92 in .357 and it is a fun rifle to shoot and very accurate.
I also have two other 73's. Bothe are Uberti's and one is in .45 Colt and the other is in .44-40. Here is a photo of all three together.
I have done a little hunting with the one in the middle in .45 Colt. Killed several large feral hogs and hunted Whitetail deer although I have not take a deer with it.
